they're valid if they're reasonable to expect and not if they're not. as an example, women are known to be less emotionally stable, and they seek out men for grounding, who society expects to strive for stability and stoicism instead of being overly-emotional. seems plenty reasonable to everyone despite it being a double standard.

on the topic of sexual experience, if you think about how much effort a man needs to bed a woman and how much effort woman needs to convince a man to have sex with her (if we're speaking with generalities, then it's very little), you will understand why men with many female partners gain the acknowledgement and envy of others while women with many male partners are seen as not very desirable (for anything more than casual sex, anyway). but if you refuse to acknowledge that men and women are intrinsically different, with different traits and qualities and needs that mean that they will never be truly equatable, then it might be hard.
