It annoys the FUCK out of me that the Inventory key functions differently that the Crests, Tasks, Journal, and Map keys.
""Inventory"" is not bound specifically to the Inventory screen but to them all. If you were on the map last time "Inventory" will just reopen the map screen. I have to press the Crests key and hit A 3 times to get to it and use my consumables.

Absolutely fucking annoying. Needs patch.

I missed this arena in act 2 and when I've gone in act 3 all the enemies are voided and it's the hardest thing in the entire game by a country mile. allright, I'm far into the game and I'm liking it a lot, idk if it's been said, but I've seen anons complaining about the sidequest, I for one like them, they provide a change of pace between bosses. I like there being more dialogue and the world feels more fleshed out.
One thing I miss however is the silly touches like zote the mighty or dungbeetle. Feels like they went too hard into the environmental storytelling

A weird fucking criticism that I have with the game is that some of the earlier areas reminded me too much of Skyrim's environment music.
This stop being a problem in every other areas after Bellhart funnily enough.

Yeah, not that Anon but I only played HK for the first time a year ago. I've never really been into metroidvanias or ballcrushing soulslike games, much preferring things like FPS, fighters, etc.

I found Hollow Knight a little difficult at times, but not overly challenging. Same with this. The first few hours of adjusting to Silksong wre punishing, but the game has been fine since then.

When I come up against something new, it's learning how it works and getting a bit of punishment, managing my silk and tools, then just doing the dance with them once it's all figure dout.

I think there's a lot more options in Silksong with how you play as well. Rather than HK being Howling Wraith's and D.Dark spam while stepping back and forth to spam nail slashes

Ive done EVERYTHING there is to do in act 2 (as far as I know) apart from finding the last few fleas (next on the list), buying out the inventories (will after a farming sesh) and dueling shakra. Can anyone tell me where that location is? I finished her quest and have absolutely no idea, unless its over where her master is, i haven't checked again. I know that's one of the few things that gets locked in act 3, and I want to get that fishing rod. I'm not about to search the entire map for it
While some things were spoiled for me, I managed to reach this point with very little help from anons. Perhaps 5% of my discoveries were via these threads, most notable the wisp thicket. I do still feel like I'm missing stuff. Though, but my map is filled out like crazy, there must be some hidden passages and breakable walls I missed somewhere. Another tip: In the second Lace fight you can just climb up the wall and let your poison fly bite her to death for you. You just have to dash into the air and back to the wall to avoid her attacks a bit. Easy cheese. Also, in the Trobio fight and Lace fight the boss glitched me into the walls once. This game is way less polished than HK.

In transitioning to a new game they had the problem of possibily disappointing people who mastered the previous game.
They needed to address this by
A. making the new game not allow you to simply coast on your muscle memory and give you an entirely new pogo to wrap your head around
B. not allow you to facetank shit by changing the healing mechanic to 3 masks, counterbalanced by a healthy dose of numerous double damage sources.
