runs at 10 fps on my RTX 3060 which is frankly an absolute beast of a GPU that runs everything I throw at it at 4k 120 fps so what's going on

They didn't.
Lower peak concurrent than Dragons Dogma 2.
It might beat that on weekend but it will never reach anywhere near the 1.1mil of something like monster hunter wilds.
Both games also had known abysmal performance, and were bought anyway, and Dragons Dogma was fucking niche.
