1. identity like a name?
2. it is essential to my wellbeing to be able to be honest about how i see things as dishonesty causes me undue stress. this is not exclusive to trans people. i have been told im too honest for my own good by people who know me
3. i am not in any way legally or morally obligated to view someones existence in the way they wish to portray as objective truth. even if it is the truth nobody has a right to demand everyone else see it
4. youre right language is not about my comfort. its about understanding. thats what communiction is. its taking something thats on your mind and putting it in a format where others can understand it. guess what. i dont understand it and while i do plan to still hear people out and keep an open mind i will continue to be transparent (no pun intended) about how it currently seems like a bunch of nonsense
5. trans people dont even follow their own rules about treating the way someone views themselves as fact. if they did the concept of a trans-egg wouldnt exist. that person currently thinks they're male so that must be true and its rude to ask that they consider otherwise according to your guy's logic
6. in addition to the way you communicate things being rather ass backwards, theres also the fact that what youre trying to communicate could be wrong. people have skewed views of themselves. you may say you know yourself better however you do the same thing to others. i personally think im progressive however you mean to convince me that im REgressive. if im to follow the logic of "im the person who knows me the best" i could just brush off what you said with the fact that i know me better.
