There's no multiplayer, there's a menu option (load enhancement) to just feed tons of fodder into any digimon, and they get exp and some stats based on the fodder's stats. There's a few other ways to get these bonus stats but it's super easy to just feed foddermons and get someone super buff.

Yeah they went out of their way to let you use whoever you want, you don't even have to do the evolve/devolve ABI grind from CS.

-Feeding someone fodder gives them a lot of stats and a lot increases their level cap (talent stat)
-I think if you really want to just use a specific Rookie forever you can keep feeding them fodder
-Generic skills can be unequipped and given to other digimon so if you want a specific generic attack on someone, you can grind out a digimon to get that attack on the side and just equip it onto your main digimon
-If you want to make a DNA digivolve like Omnimon, you can just make him ASAP and change his generic moves afterwards

The fodder feeding looks like it breaks the game's difficulty though just keep that in mind

That's why that stupid Agu/Gabu are DLC for this game. The Rumble Arena series has no humans, nor does Digimon World 4. In anime, the only humanless entry is the OVA/Movie about Dorumon and the RK+Yggrasil. While it is quite important to have humans around narratively, it could work in some circumstance because Digimons do have their own personalities and agency. They've shown to be able to create groups and fight amongst each other. But it'll miss one of cooler aspect of the franchise where human and Digimon learn from each other.

I just started the demo. Theres clearly a discrepancy between the quality of the game and its price point. If it wants to be Persona with background characters being blank faced then they needed to stylize the game more. I know cock sucking is rampant nowadays and theres plenty of fleas who just want to see everything fail but 70 is really too much for a double A game. I am trying to say this in the nicest way possible because i really really want this to succeed.

I actually did looked it up myself. Apparently there's an emulator that could do it. Goldberg or something. But, you HAVE to get the token first (by buying it and running it once), and then run an emulator, and then refund, (the steps might be mixed up I barely researched it). But the most important thing is to never turn your steam online or better, cut off from the internet entirely (on your pc) until you play the game till the end. Fearing that denuvo/steam will detect that your token has been nulled from the refund. There's a discord group that can make the process easier, but the caveat is that they can only activate for 5 users (per game) per day/session.
