dont play modded for your first playthrough, just use deus exe, it just lets you run the game in widescreen, has a few patches, and if you want it to look a little better lighting wise you can enable dx10 (but remember to enable classic lighting)

which looks like mostly the same thing, and yeah dx10 has stuttering running over 60 which it looks like dx11 fixes
