Maybe the most disappointing Nintendo game ever released. 6 years of development time wasted on a glorified DLC that nobody cares about. They could’ve been working on something brand new. See you guys in like 2028.

Overrated by critics for sure. Botw's map was already massive, so why did Nintendo add two new layers that were copy paste and mostly empty? The great sky island is the only thing in the sky that was interesting to explore, and the depths had little other than clothes from botw.

As a game itself it was good, as a sequel, it was really underwhelming. Sky Islands were just ok, the depths were really shit and could have been done way better. The refusal to shake up the dungeons and just do a rehash within the same rigid framework was extremely disappointing, as was the final boss. The combat trials were at least a little better than fighting that stupid mini guardian over and over.

Tail Concerto was such a fun little world, and while Solatorobo is still peak, the entire "the ancient civilization was humans all along" thing ruined everything. Because apparently, going to that story bit is all they can do for the rest of the franchise now.

Was so hyped for Fuga, but every game is just retreating the same "Evil human" shit.
Wish they'd actually dare to go back to a story that doesn't involve the "epic reveal"
