Wrong. Engage is A LOT of chores. Picking up animals and talking to allies after every map, most maps have the same fucking song, the gameplay is nice but the maps are all just as boring as Engage and Gambits added a layer of gameplay Engage lacks. The story is forgettable for the most part and everyone not named Celine is a meh character. TH also had a lot of busy work, but I enjoyed most of the story and characters in that game. The hub is nothing but chores that are not enjoyable.
But not going means losing free XP, bond chances, and leaving ingredients and crafting materials on the table.
People talk about this game like the gameplay got revolutionized or something and I just don't see it. I would say it has marginally better gameplay, but everything else is arguably worse than TH. Also, the Emblems being fucking one-note non-characters make for a pretty shit way to celebrate the series.
