The first one did run like shit, but the soundtrack was fantastic, much better than breath of the wild's pretentious single piano note bullshit, it was more Zelda-like. This game targets 60 and seems to run much better, but the visuals are almost the same. The premise is garbage though, you're playing as a bunch of literal whos, fleshing out an already garbage story, most of the assets are recycled, and Link is not even present so far.

It was not by any means a great Direct. But at the same time I wasn't expecting much.
The Galaxy movie was cool. I liked the first movie. The remakes are neat, I was just thinking how I wanted to play Galaxy 1 + 2 without dealing with wiimotes.
Tenis Fever seemed alright.I like the RPG aspect. Didn't seemed too special but at least they are relying on the fantasy aspect of the series.
Yoshi looked good. Not a console seller for me but when I get a Switch 2 I may take a look at it.

I don't think a lot of people realize just how horrible of an omen it is to end on Fire Emblem. They don't have new mainline games for their big or even medium hitters lined up anytime soon for the Switch 2 (or strong spinoffs for those franchises). The dumbasses just gambled the Switch 2's first non-launch heavy hitter on a franchise they'd been neglecting for over a decade, completely skipped the Switch outside of a couple poorly-timed ports, and had a questionable redesign for its main protagonist. How'd that turn out, if they're doing a demo two months after launch?

I do like to see them at least porting the Galaxy games. I love the first one. The second I've not yet been able to complete. I find annoying however, that the switch really feels like planned obsolecense ware, then obviously the price is jewish. I hope it survives long enough, but I have pixel death that's noticable. It was dropped I time or 2 but not terribly. That's one of the reasons emulation is important.

There was nothing in this direct for me.
I'm not sure why metroid of all things is getting an open field and bike nonsense, the initial disappointment stung, but everytime watching the clip after has me open up to the idea, but it's probably just cope. The bigger problem is the wierd screeching guitar "music" that accompanied the teaser, it doesn't sound like yamamoto and I really hope the battle music isn't going to be all shit. Viewros theme did sound nice, so my hope isn't completely gone, but this direct really lowered my expectations... which is probably a good thing.

A whole hour of fucking nothing. I thought for sure they'd have one cool thing, but I was wrong and it was just port port remaster port, besides mario tennis and yoshi, neither which looks worth buying. Legends ZA getting DLC before releasing really turned on the lightbulb in my head, nintendo is jewmaxxing. I know I'm late to that realisation, but that and the fucking virtual boy periphery finally did it. Have fun buying the same fucking games for the next 10 years.
