What handheld do you have the most nostalgia for?

The roundedness of the GBC never sat right with me. I always preferred how the GB Pocket looked and felt in the hands, even if the screen was pretty dogshit.

I like both for different reasons
early/mid 90s and late 90s were two different design languages and its nice to be able to appreciate them side by side

The GBP screen was actually pretty good
The big problem was the battery life from AAAs
I think they even struggle to power some flashcarts

My childhood console was actually an AGS-101 SP
I got a color and some game&watches when I was 10 and obsessed with older tech so my dad went eBay hunting

The GBA SP, DS and 3DS.

I love the clamshell design.

My first handheld was a GBC but my fondest memories are picrel. Words cannot describe how cool that little device was at the time, it was like taking a peek into the future

The SP was a gamechanger for sure, rechargeable battery and native backlight, finally no more having to fight against the sun.

Gameboy Advance helped me survive the summers back in middle school
