The only Nintendo team I trust with DLC is Monolith Soft.

Both Xenoblade expansions have been well worth the money. The fact that the XC3 expansion pass included two new heroe questlins, a roguelike mode, AND an entire 25 hour JRPG for only $10 more than the DK expansion (only a roguelike mode) is insane.

The Xenoblade 2 expansion pass was arguably even bigger at the same price.

I'm not going to buy it. It looks like very little content, and I'm not really interested in the roguelike elements. That doesn't change the fact that the base game is a phenomenal experience.

Man, I should really just sell my Switch 2 and wait a few years until maybe there's some titles worth playing. Nintendo is just testing it to the limit how much they can rip off their customers. My interest in Prime 4 has evaporated with the past trailers, it's looking like it's shaping up to be a disappointment where they had no idea where to go with it. The new FE also just looks like Three Houses 2.

This is ultimately whats so upsetting about this DLC. We're literally paying $20 for the "rest of the game." Like its one thing to have planned expansion packs prior to game launch and just need time to fully realize them and release them, but this DK island level + post-game minigame mode is so clearly something they might have even had fully made prior to launching the game.
