No, it went to shit the moment it started being shitted out with a flash-tier artstyle, beaten to death with voiced lines, and then raped to a pulp when they moved heavily away from the "everything incidentally but separately overlaps with wario's bullshit" style of plot and instead to "le wario is le friends with le everyone and they le jerk each other off because they're le friends btw they're le chummy friends and nothing else" slop.
Don't even get me started on how dogshit the minigames became.
