Nintendo has a whole division to help with the movies and Pikmin 4 might have been less shit had Miyamoto helped out more with it instead of that shitty Mario movie. Miyamoto is good with controls and one of Pikmin 4's main issues is the awful auto target

Exactly this. Making a Zelda movie is like trying to tell someone about your favorite meal by mailing them a picture of the ingredients. The entire point is the interactivity, the discovery, how the world reacts to you in real time. You can’t replicate that with a static 90-minute script. And worst part? They’ll just Hollywood-ize the hell out of it-Link will talk, Zelda will girlboss harder than Peach ever did, and Ganon will be replaced by some literal who villain with a tragic backstory and a redemption arc. Can’t wait to watch something that completely misses why the games mattered at all.

You know what's weird? They used an extended original arrangement of Super Mario World music until it pans up to the logo reveal where it just reuses the Galaxy's title screen music.
It's like the movie was originally going to be titled Super Mario World like the old leak stated and they decided to change it at the last minute.
