I got tired of the daily loop shortly after getting Saber as a new player and thought I would play it on and off but it turns out I never opened the game since then.

Same. For the price of getting 1 character in Honkai I can buy like a few dozen shitty RPGMaker games on Steam that will most likely have better gameplay, more meaningful content and less painful writing.

Amphoreus release just didn't interest me. I liked Penacony but just had zero interest in them hard resetting and building up a while new cast for another year or two. So I dropped the story after The Herta but kept up passive dailies until the Fate Collab then dropped the game entirely after that

The lack of actual Honkai anything (aside from two or three completely different characters wearing the skin and names of much better ones, and Welt I guess) in the game called Honkai bummed me out and the initial phase of chinkwank turned me off completely and judging by what I've seen of it's current (absolute) state I'm glad I quit. Not even a F/SN collab could make me give a shit.

They just keep vomiting new characters and your favorites get pretty much forgotten
Also they do that thing where they put huge focus on literal who trailblazers over popular ones like Luka (yes Luka) getting a whole voiced event for him
