I don't get this. Wouldn't a more challenging mode sell more? This seems like it's trying to sell the game to people who've already decided to watch the game on youtube.

I actually like stuff like this and the Kojima "Pretend you won" button. Because it's forcing these shitters to confront just how awful at games they are. It's one thing to be forced to play a game on easy mode. But having to turn on what's effectively "I'm disabled and cannot play video games at all" mode is a different story. I doubt Square Enix meant it this way with their implementation, but Kojima was definitely being condescending and cheeky.
