No, you are not supposed to be able to run a modern AAA game in ultra at 4K and high fps.
If you are able to run a modern game at max settings at native 4K +60fps, that game is not cutting edge and it's using old technology. You know the same technology you fags accuse console of holding gaming back by using it.
You will not be able to tell the difference between ultra and medium/high with your shitty 27" monitor.
Ultra settings are for future proofing. They will be useful in the future when 8K gaming becomes a thing.

The problem lies with Unreal Engine 5 not being optimized and especially with Lumen which is a raytracing mode you can't turn off in the game's settings.
And the game doesn't even look good.

For fuck sake, I know it's another bait but - games does not look significantly better than what they used to but runs worse and worse each year. GPU cost more and more, increasing in price and power consumption far more than inflation would suggest and your retards started to believe that burning money on unnecessary hardware makes you "rich" and "valuable" when only makes you half-brain retarded. Developers don't give a flying fuck about optimization and UE5 is literal garbage engine that cause problems in every fucking single game it's used in. And people reported not being able to even fucking launch the game at all. Plus, let me remind you that in 3 (I didn't get 4 before it reach 90% off like 3 did) you couldn't even disable or lower certain graphic settings and had to endure insane colourful effects.

And I still use 1680x1050 monitor.

If a modern game cannot be run at the standard with modern hardware then it's compartively something being made for a consumer grade hobby that requires technology that is not yet available to consumers or straight up does not exist yet. That's pretty fucked up when you observe it from a distance.
