its been an ongoing thing for 30 or so years, probably goes back further.
basically, every aspect of the systems are corrupt and lying to cover their ass about things.

on top of that our parenting system is fucked so schools are having to spend more and more time trying to teach the youngest kids shit that their parents should have taught them.

meanwhile any attempt at peer pressure to force socialization can get punished as bullying.
any actual bullying must be ignored or everyone gets punished "equally"
meanwhile gangs run rampant in the poor schools looking to recruit the local retards as foot soldiers that won't get sent to actual jail.
Its a massive tangled mess of bullshit and any politician smart enough to actually begin to comprehend the scope of it is staying WELL THE HELL AWAY from it.
So instead you get a parade of clueless retards fiddling with a Gordian knot they don't even realize exists, tangling shit up further at various levels in various ways.
