I disagree partly because of how big FEH was in its early years and its being one of nintendo's earlier mobile games helped attract a lot of people who had likely never tried the series first. Gamestop even had little ads inside the store promoting it. I haven't been to feg in a long time but there were occasionally people coming and saying they had never tried FE and wanted to try FEH.
As it got older, I would agree that less and less people had FEH as their first game, but In its early years it definitely drew in new players.

The enemies that MK's speed advantage will actually make a difference for are griffins, swordmasters, wolves and thieves, all of which have fairly high RES. Griffins are best taken down with bows. Wolves can be taken out with a forged/engraved Ridersbane, but I also think it's a good idea to take them, SMs and thieves out with Engage attacks because they have high avoid. I did already mention that MK has a few niches, but like I'm demonstrating here, they aren't that high value in the grand scheme. Sage should be able to double everything else with the right build.
