honestly I wish I just watched someone else play it instead of buying it. games a chore, I hate walking into a new area and seeing all the books around I'm going to have to fight in repetitive battles, and managing the luminas and pictos just sucks

I still have no idea why or how it was shilled so hard but none of it was organic. There is literally nothing good about this game and all the characters in it are ugly as fuck so even the coomer debate is off the table.

i am brainrotted as fuck I can barely keep up in college sometimes I even drift off in conversation when im looking the guy in the eye and even then this game captured and kept my attention for 40 hours

Yeah this true. Strategy goes out the window, stats mean little, the parry and dodge elements dictate the battle system more than anything

i don't think the game is bad, it's just boring for many of the reasons stated in this thread. the dodge and parry mechanic subtract a lot from the genre. i don't have to strategize or build craft, i can just dodge
