It's good, but you don't exactly get a great view of it in-game. Perhaps it speaks to the quality of their designs that Terra and Celes are the only pre-3D characters in the top 20. I would've put Rydia above them myself, but that's just me.

It's the only mandatory blitzball match in the game and there's no consequence for losing. In fact, you're basically expected to lose since Wakka's team are a bunch of shitters. I'm surprised it would filter you so hard since it's not even that long of a segment. Other Final Fantasy games have far more insufferable minigame segments.
