The next game takes the "stretching Mario" mechanic from SM64 and develops it into a brand new game: SUPER MARIO JELLY
>In SUPER MARIO JELLY, Bowser shrinks Mario to the size of an atom!
>On his quest to return to normal size, Mario teams up with a magical glove named Hans who gives Mario the power to distort his body in all kinds of wacky ways!
>Use the Switch 2 mouse mode to push, pull, squash, and stretch Mario through all kinds of nooks and crannies!
>Collect Power Jellies to regain your body mass and grow taller!
Can Mario save the day from Bowser's BIG problem? Find out in SUPER MARIO JELLY

NTA but I feel like Bowser's Fury-style level design could work if you designed one super dense sandbox for Mario to explore. I made a super-autistic pitch doc about it several years back, but I always thought a theme park would be a great setting for a Bowser's Fury expansion.

Cool idea anon, there hasn't been a mainline 3D Mario that extensively focuses on power-up switching on the fly. Giving Mario a plumber's toolkit to enhance his moveset could be fun, same with theming the game around plumbing and Mario's many jobs.

In that same thread I spitballed a winter-themed Mario Sunshine-sequel with a stronger focus on temperature and liquid physics.

Sounds cool, I just wonder how you would increase the scope and make it an even grander adventure without losing what makes Mario "Mario." Seeing Mario go through ethereal, otherworldly regions could be interesting visually.
