Since some guy asked (last night), the Darklord support is good for the deck but it is a far cry from meta relevant.
There are real one card combos now off of Thoth and that horrible card Ukobach that's finally worth playing, and the fairy lock doesn't really matter unless you really wanted to play it with Despia because you can make Apo (in MD)/Mirage Lights/play Melodius, but your normal summon is still extremely important due to lmao no extenders besides discard for Nasten if you opened him, and you die instantly to not just Droll, but also both Shifter and Lancea because the fusion spell only lets you banish. Also you have no banish recovery so if the game goes to turn 4 you start to run out of beatsticks if you fuse too much and decided to cut Uprising because it's a trap. And you have next to no room for non-engine pure but at least you can play Orange Light.

The Japanese audience loves their Lab and Live Twins so I could easily see both Lab and Twins having like a 70% of showing up. Charmers is getting four entire episodes for each charmer soon so I can almost say for certain that Wynn, the most popular one, is getting a slot. I could also potentially see Konami wanting to shill a new archetype for the game's release with a character. Honestly as long as we get card game original archetypes, I'm fine with any roster.

You fundamentally don't understand why Moon of the Closed Heaven is a game changer. Lurrie isn't even a fraction as important as Moon.

With moon, literally any two monsters is full combo. If you open zero fiendsmith cards, you still full combo thanks to moon. Without moon, you just don't get to play fiendsmith when you don't randomly draw the cards.
If lurrie wasn't in the game, they would just play the 2nd best Tract target and the deck would be slightly worse but it wouldn't really change the engine significantly. But losing Moon fundamentally changes the entire use-case of the engine. There are decks that go from "combos extremely well with Fiendsmith" to "you would have to be retarded to play fiendsmith in this deck" simply based on the existance of Moon

cool, but don't disregard gen 1 DM monsters. tons of them are iconic and typical normies that don't play YGO anymore would recognize them as much as kanto region pokemon. I would be open to mashing in GX monsters and onwards, but as future dlc waves per generation. also, I'd add spell/trap cards to your x-factor gimmick, up to 5 charges.
