nah, there were a few monsters in MHS2 that weren't rideable. The crabs, tetsucabra, plesioth, agnaktor and the seltas duo. Its especially frustrating queen wasn't rideable since its literally monster that has another monster ride it, plenty of space up there for a saddle.

OP is actually right for once, the MC designs are bad and it feels like the game is desperately trying to be more "mature". I never played any of the previous Stories game but I'm sure as hell not touching this one.

My take is that I don't like the character design which is fairly reasonable. I did try the demo for Stories 2 and while it was sort of okay, it wasn't good enough for me to want to buy it. The point is that Stories 3 has shown me nothing that makes me want to give the series another chance.
