Your opinion on racing games like Tokyo Xtreme Racer now that they finally got the rights to use Honda vehicles? Why do people jerk off to Honda cars anyways?

I liked the latest one, even though it felt basic. Perfect game to play for one or two hours a day.

They are very reliable and the upper trims a lot of the models had very performant naturally aspirated engines. Producing 185HP out of a 1.6 litre engine with no forced induction is pretty impressive for a production vehicle.

Tell me about CarX Street PC. Why should I play this over other racing game? Does it suffer from rubberbanding/shit basketball player music/shitty characters like in NFS? If its open world, why would I play this over Beam or Asseto Corsa?

CarX is like a cross between NFS and Burnout Paradise, it's also cheap and has a great map.

The map is finalized, no more routes than what's already there
More customization is also coming

Damn near Toyota reliability and about as easy and cheap to work on as you can get for a car. The only issue is that some Honda's burn oil.

honda has been finicky with licensing in the past and it's also hard to imagine a racing game (with real car brands) without hondas since they're a staple jdm brand with many iconic automobiles

I assume cars in general burn oil because the owners were dumb enough to change their oil ever 10k instead of 5k

I had a lot of fun playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer early access. Been looking forward to the full release.
