I'm confused. They were asked if their game was like Baldur's Gate 3. They correctly noted that (just like the original) it's not a game like that. VTMB was always about playing a fairly specific kind of character in a fairly specific kind of story. They also said that they didn't want the game to have a big, empty open world so they've gone for a more focused open hub world.
