Atlus, often the last company that publishes a physical M-rated game since 2009. Yeah, I'm sure other people have noticed it but I still wanted to point that out, the final physical M-rated game for ''x'' console is often published by Atlus.

They ALMOST had it with the Nintendo DS too, but Aksys Games won there, SMT Strange Journey was released in March 2010 in the west but 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors was released in November that same year...Aksys Games published the final M-rated game for Nintendo DS...

Well, Aksys is alive and well, it's just that their games probably sell less than similar games published by Atlus, IFI and NIS America which are of course similar companies. Nowadays one could say that Otome games are their bread and butter, so, they have published many Otome games for Nintendo Switch. For the reaminder of the year they will publish Illusion of Itehari, Mistonia's Hope -The Lost Delight-, The Good Old Days and physical editions of C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield. Aksys Games isn't going anywhere, personally, I've played some games published by them for Switch and other platforms and I really like some games published by that company.
