I was angry that Gustav died too. Legit kept thinking he'd get revived like Crono in Chrono Trigger, but it never happened. Verso might seem like a mary sue at first, but he has legit flaws and has the one of the worst deck of cards out of the entire cast of characters, metaphorically speaking. He lives a miserable existence, but he makes the most of it and still manages to have a charismatic personality
