has a video game ever made your life immediately better?
>be me, 30 year old recluse and all around fuck up
>play persona 3 reload for the first time
>start viewing my life as a fatlus persona game
>start seeing my passion project as "going to tartarus" at night
>decide to go to the gym to build my social stats
>meet tons of great new people there, including my old high school crush
>view them all as social links
>get the most fit I've ever been in my life
>start going on dates with old crush, actually have really great chemistry together.
>start making friendships with random interesting people all over town
>help a bum find beer money, gives me his name and tells me he's got my back next time he sees me. Total Tower arcana vibes.
>phone is now constantly blowing up with messages from people wanting to hang out, I actually have to manage my time like in the game.
>make huge leaps of progress each time I work on my passion project while listening to "burn my dread."
It feels gay to say this, but persona 3 objectively changed my life for the better. Anyone else have a game do something similar for them?
