I realized it was there because you can enter Putrified Ducts from Bilewater, you can even find the npc that wants meat and gives you the Longclaw, but the zone isn't completely open, it's blocked and you're supposed to search for another entrance.
I just looked at some complete map online and figured how to access it, I'm not gonna waste my time hitting every wall.

I'm confused about sprintmaster as well. Did the three races before I was even thinking about mementos, but I don't have it. Have even been back to talk to him again with the same dialogue.

As for seth, you talk to him in different locations after the fight, and he will then move to fleatopia and proceed to smash any previous high scores you set.

Nah the last 2 endings (one of which did end up tying to Silksong in a surprising way) are just got by beating Pantheon #5, the all-bosses one (not 4 like I said, but not all radiant either). As for your last point, I think this works to the game's detriment. The progression is drawn-out, the secrets are far too tucked away, and it can be an immense chore to find things.
