Why are people talking about Bloodlines 2 like it doesn't have hours of footage showing the opening of the game recorded and released by multiple people in August? A bulk of discussion on this game seems to consist of people who have no fucking idea what they're talking about. That is insane to me. It seems so weird and pigheaded to be so opinionated on something you know fuck-all about.

Seems like a shill thread.
I have watched a lot of the gameplay and the best gameplay that is shown is from this one streamer guy who has like 5 hours (5 vids) of gameplay. He is sponsored by the devs to play it but is also critical of things he seen.
I skipped through the gameplay as it is a story driven game so I skipped all dialogue etc to not spoil and wanted to see the raw gameplay.
Its still not enough.
The gameplay doesn't really show if the world is actually open world, as in can you go in buildings etc out of mission. If there is multiple ways to tackle objectives.
What I did see was cut and paste NPCs and jank.
Need raw (unsponsored) gameplay before I decide to buy the game. As well as the clans in the base game as I am not paying 1/2 the price of the game for day one locked "on disc" DLC that removes 1/3 of the clans.

You could just watch the Paradox stream because they showed you can do exactly. I'm not sure why you'd question it anyway.

I'll answer that for you. No, there isn't. It's not that kind of game. It's open world Mass Effect 2 with fangs. It has no interest in being Deus Ex.

It looked to me from the gameplay shown that it had im sim like multiple ways to deal with the objective as well as the powers lean into that too.
We just need more gameplay from deeper into the game rather than the first few missions.
That streamer guy I mentioned unllocked the 4th of the 5 clan powers so he got reasonably well into the game.

But it's very polished. So much so that basically none of the streams had any noticeable bugs. It's extremely, extremely slick.

I'm not sure what clan to play in VTMB 1 and VTMB 2.

Ventrue is the best clan. Fortitude allows playing both melee and guns, full dominate dialogue allows for doing whatever you want regarding socials. It's the most versatile and looks the coolest.
