Hades 1 was awful, so I don't know why I would. I hate this shitty timewaster roguelite trend. Yeah, play through the same hour-long game 20+ times. 100+, even. You want to see the whole story, don't you? You want to unlock all the items, upgrades, and beat the hardest difficulties, don't you? Come on, play our game a few dozen more times.

Is there an actual reason why it needs to be a few dozen instead of just a few? N-no, but that's the number we arbitrarily chose. People are always really proud to proclaim that they got 100 hours of playtime out of some overly padded game! We couldn't take that joy away from them!

I liked the first game. The gameplay was smooth and I enjoyed the sense of progression not that I cared about the story. But once I beat Hades I didn't keep playing it. Decent fun for a small cheap game.
