Wanting to leave the Cabin is the single consistent factor across all Princesses except Adversary (who wants to fight you) and Fury (who wants you to suffer like she does).
You're basically asking her to abandon one of her biggest goals right on the cusp of accomplishing it.
Also you need to remember she's literally change incarnate and even thinking about her in a different way can cause her to completely change

Also one thing I feel the game implied that was missing from the potential endings was reforming the singular creature you and the Princess were before the story took place. The Wild, The Fury, The Witch, The Dragon and the Princess all have you dealing with the feeling of being mixed, crushed, or melded together. I feel those experiences should have unlocked dialogue options with Shifting to pursue that sort of relationship. Form a Rebis.

If it's just a vehicle to tell you a story, then it's not a game.
If it compels you to plan how to get the ending you want, or to find all hidden endings, then it becomes a strategy game, in a way

I really want to like this game but the "repeat" stuff gets old real quick if you've seen it somewhere else. It's nothing new in media so i hope the author managed to find a way to make this trope more interesting.
