i like the game overall but some decisions are just bullshit

>shards useless in act1, hit max limit, then costs explode when you actually want/need to use them

I don't get how some people ever had rosaries or shards be an issue in this game. Like yeah I was low at time but I always had enough to buy benches and bell stations and use tools when I wanted to. Really starting to think most people didn't actually play the first game and just watched playthroughs on youtube and they think they should be a god at this game. I can't see anyone who actually played the first struggle too hard in this game

It's the opposite. Costs were fine in act 1, unless you kept dying and losing them, you typically always had enough to buy whatever you came across. It's in act 2 where they start throwing thousands upon thousands of rosaries' worth of merchant stock at you.

you regenerate silk when you're low, quite fast too, it's not a problem for platforming

You don't need silk to heal with regenerating health and architect doesn't have access to silk skills so you can just equip the wispfire lantern for free damage

This must be a post-patch opinion because the rosary costs in act 2 and 3 were obscene, you had to grind out thousands of them if you wanted to buy everything.

Absolutely everyone hated the map system in HK so it's bizarre that they kept that exactly the same in Silksong.

None of this is valid except the "5 beads" part. Half of the exploration is rewarded with 5 beads and 3 fall off onto spikes before I grab them. Meanwhile there are benches right next to groups of enemies that drop like 60 and you can kill them in a second. You can farm up enough beads in 10 minutes, turn them all into consumables so you dont lose them, and go through the whole game never worrying about losing beads or collecting them from strings again.

that's probably one of the main reasons they split tools into categories, so people would just have rosary magnet on all the time because most exploration tools don't help you in combat either

Don't forget how they hover at perfect set distance away from you, and they'll either backdash away from you or fly into you and deal contact damage if you get too close.
