Got the vigilante ending and am already tired of playing the game. I was hoping that the play had more control and options regarding who is let in and tests done before that, but it's all RNG. Tests aren't definitive so it's largely a shot in the dark, and if you can confirm someone as good, they'll soon be killed by a visitor or taken away by FEMA. Certainly lacks depth.

Can anyone playing tell me if the visitors are indeed randomized with dialogue staying the same or not?

Not a 100% on it but if you give it to someone they'll definitely be taken the next time FEMA comes around to take people. You don't want to give it to someone you've guaranteed is good, and you want to kill a known visitor, so the best option is to give it to someone you're iffy on. By doing that, you can test some of the others but that does leave a ? on that person, and if they're bad you also don't want them around.

Im cool with the hints of things to look for in a nonhuman, but the freaky wualities or the way they talk piss me off, many come off as telltale nonhuman signs but you arent meant to act on them. In a game like That's Not My Neighbor you are meant to use obvious and less than obvious clues together, you see one thing off and you know you got them. The game is about using clues to find out who the visitors are and aren't. In a dungeon crawler, rng creates the dungeon map, spawns, and item locations. Those are randomized so a new experience can be had each time. The opprotunity for any character to be a visitor needs to exist, otherwise you will not be playing the game by design when you "know" what already can and can't be.
You haven't explained why this is a flaw with game design.
