I agree, but when asked, a dev said that the first Summer skin we got for The THing was not a planned skin, but rather something they did after they drew The Thing in a speedo for that summer comic they released, and people liked it, so they made it a skin. The summer skin we are getting for him now is the one they had originally planned as a summer skin for The Thing
