POKÉMON PATENTS THE ACT OF MONSTER BATTLING TO GUT PALWORLD
Moving in for the kill, Nintendo wants the entire concept of Pal battling removed from Palworld through their new patent passed (as always and without hesitation) by the Japanese office of patents (JOP). Therein, the concept of 'summoning a character to fight another' outlaws all forms of monster battling, and may even impair game mechanics employed in games such as Dark Souls (but of course, Nintendo, doesn't go after the big players of the industry).

It seems Masuda won't stop until Palworld until the children devs are flipping burguers.
The shocking thing is that Nintendo doesn't demand royalties from Palworld. This is not about money, it is about domination. They just want to see Palworld gutted until it has no features left. Forcing Palworld to remove pal battles would completely decharacterize the game.
