This, and the puzzles is what im actually interested in, its has been AGES and I mean AGES since a survival horror game has demonstrated good level design. Dont really care much about the combat, all survival horror combat sucks, yes even the action ones like dead space, its just the exact same thing after a while, RE4 remake makes you too strong for it to matter that resource management is "tight". Just induces tedium.
There actually is one survival horror game that gets it right, but it imposes a bunch of limitations you have to work around solving that cant just be reduced to "use melee when you dont want to waste ammo".
But yeah if this ones level design is good exploration wise (since the other survival horror i think is good has good level design encounter wise) then maybe itll be a sleeper GOTY
