Are we experiencing the death of Nintendo? I think it is over for them if they can't manage to run GTA 6 on mobile phone console, gaming is bigger than ever and GTA 6 is set to sell billions of copies and millions of new consoles but not for Nintendo who is stuck in the past.

They have enough money to stay afloat but its very clear the switch 2 isn't going to have the longterm success the previous one had. Between everything you listed and it being too expensive for parents to gift their kids for Christmas, I jist don't see it happening. 1. Switch 2 isnt flopping right now, its still flying off shelves.
You have an argument for the long-tail performance given the current pricing and hardware,
but we're still at the beginning of the consoles lifecycle and it already has more games than Switch 1 did at launch.
(Granted 2 of those first party titles were Switch 2 editions, but the third party exclusives + the backwards compatibility with Switch 1 titles already gives it an edge for the start.)
Not to mention the different versions like a Switch 2 Lite, Switch 2 OLED, Switch 2 Revision, etc. could end up spiking adoption rates.
The Switch lite flooded family homes due to its pricing and form factor, and a switch 2 version of that would do gang busters if it can reach near that same pricing.
2. Nintendo has A LOT of cash on hand.
Like this isn't a case of all of their eggs being in their stock evaluation and borrowing money off of that.
They have an insane amount of hard cash reserves for a company of their size.
They wont be sinking anytime soon unless whatever currency they keep on hand crashes out completely.

The exclusives are not good though. People didn't buy a switch for mediocre exclusives, they bought it for the really good exclusives. The Switch 2 is offering "good" exclusives, but that's it. They aren't exceptional must-plays.

The games exclusive to Switch 2 look like off-brand end of era games that were going to be on the Switch (because they were). These aren't games that were cooking for a brand new console for years. These were games that were hastily ported to the Switch 2 when they decided to rebrand the Switch Pro to Switch 2 and sell it as a next generation console.

The Switch 2 is ironically what everybody thought the Wii U was. It's not a real next-generation console. The power of marketing is incredible.

It's not bigger yet, or will it ever be. Pc parts are disgustingly expensive. More so than ours. Most normal gamers there are hoping to switch as their "next gen" system since the ps5 might as well not exist.

It's just easier to get on there. In my many travels to japan I've only met like 2 pc gamers dude.
Everyone else is either on the phone, or on switch. The ps4-5 market is one and that's mockingly called the "foreigner" console there. Every time a playstation game not from a nip studio charts in sales they joke about the number of foreigners going up.
