all you can do is basic turnbased combat, it doesnt involve strategy or tactics, a lot of invisible walls and cant jump where you want
>Shallow Level design
Most of the levels are one or two rooms visual spectacle, then you have the main areas which have some shorcuts but pale in comparison to actual good level design
>Story issues
The story pacing is fucked, after the reveal that the whole thing is fake all the stakes are suddenly gone, it relies on mystery to carry it and once that mystery is revealed everything goes to shit
>Characters
The cast is underdeveloped and halfbaked, the companions side quests were dogshit shallow trash and they are treated horribly and given zero agency over anything
>Unbalanced encounter design
After you finish act 2 the game turns into a total mess, any "wrong" exploration fucks the whole balance of the game, even if you do it right, with the existence of basic pictos the game gets solved completely
>Too much parryslop spam
Especially in act 3, the game turns to full blown parryslop where enemies have long chain attacks and all you have to do is spam the same button to avoid damage AND retaliate for free, making it the best tool in the whole game and rendering strategy useless.
Also it makes replaying a fight more tedius than ever or if you want to flee, you have to wait for the chain attacks to be finished
>Graphically incompetent
While the game looks pretty the texture popin and graphic rendering is actual dogshit and destroys any sense of immersion you may have with the world.
