Still better than Sims 4 which means it's also literally the only existing life sim with in depth features despite Early Access
Recent tropical island expansion for it for example has underwater diving, something TS3 has but TS4 is utterly lacking after 10 fucking years, and also swimmable bodies of water that arent restricted to what the game wants
Will probably leave TS4 in the dirt by the time it fully releases, but that's not saying much considering the abortion TS4 is
And TS5 won't be coming any time soon as confirmed by EA, so it's not like you even have a choice.
It's either gookZOI or Paralives in the foreseeable future

the assets are more expensive to produce, they're more expensive to render, they're harder to keep looking consistent, they're harder for modders to add to, and they're less forgiving when it comes to animations or any other aspect of the game

They need to realize that fans of the genre are all grown up now. They need to fully make it an 18+ rated game. Sex needs to be integrated as a huge part of gameplay. Sex sells. I wanted to get it for CC alone, but the building demo was EXTREMELY offputting. It's exceptionally horrid to build, I lost any intention to even remotely bother.

I enjoy the island update, but let's be real. The main audience for this type of game are woman ad woman care a lot more about the relationship part of the Sims. The relationships in Inzoi are really really shallow. I like the lifesim stuff they added, but woman don't care about scuba diving for collectables or making a living by farming.
