Honestly i do like silksong a bit, but the game is unironically too big, there is too much content as none of it post act 2 really gels seamlessly.
Act 3 seems like pure kino until you take a step back and realize how underbaked it is, it turns out having the same 3 attacks applied to all old enemies rather than unique void abominations and turning the beauiful world into a black hellscape perma isn't all that fun after all

I think the best party is that no matter what slop retards will throw, even team cherry, there is parry in the game and parry ability so everything can be cheesed.
Karmelita's strat is already one of my favourites. Just parry twice and press ability and become invincible because everything rest can be dodged in the air.

it's one of the flaws of their "we really really liked dark souls" system. if someone dies to a boss they might want to come back to later, they have to go get their cocoon, but if the cocoon is in the boss arena (no idea why they don't put them outside) then they have to fight the boss again. so people feel like their stuck unless they want to lose all their rosaries. and remember, silkeaters don't show up until much later in the game.

Honestly, the only way I'd sum it up is that Hornet is the picture of proper royalty; Team Cherry managed to write a fantastic warrior princess. Just like the Pale King, they're meant to be morally complex and not easily fit into the "good or bad" categories. The Pale King did some fucked up stuff, but in the end, it was for the protection of his kingdom and he (probably) saved more lives than he destoryed. The weavers were more complicated because they were a faction full of multiple people with differing beliefs, as evidenced by Herrah just wanting to be a good mom, vs other weavers wanting some form or revenge or whatever on GMS. They built the citadel and caused everything around it to turn to shit, but it was in service of keeping GMS asleep, I believe, which they thought was to the benefit of everyone because GMS was a tyrant theocratic ruler who wanted total dominance over everyone in Pharloom. Thus, in the weavers eyes, polluting what became Bilewater may have been a reasonable sacrifice to serve the goal of surpressing the bitch at the top
