Asylum was a great 3D Metroidvania. City converted it to open world but kept all the good parts of Asylum. Knight was bad.

the games were nice but in hindsight so many little things irked me. like how absolutely disgusting the sidekicks looked in all the games with the exception of the robin from origins. how all the boss fights sucked ass. hover few predator and combat sections there actually were let alone challenging ones.

Asylum suffers from becoming a speed running game after your first playthrough since it's so linear.

Have to add that the majority of the events that take place in the TTS game also all happen in non Arkham Island Gotham too, the Arkham name stands out like a sore thumb. You personally don't see them first in Arkham, they don't debut at Arkham, their villain scheme doesn't even involve Arkham. It is explicitly one Arkham family member being mad at things done to her family and not once does Batman even try to do anything about them until the fucking Jonkler tells him to "maybe look up the Arkham family DUMBASS"

Absolutely. The Riddler went from "mildly clever trivia guy" to "psychotic hoarder with OCD and a construction crew on standby." Half those trophies require you to solve a goddamn Rubik's Cube with your toes while flying the Batplane upside down. And for what? A single cutscene of him getting KO’d mid-sentence. Peak Batman autism fuel.

Joker can't be cured because he is 100% aware of all of his actions. There is no real medical diagnosis, you don't see schizos or autists somehow evading the capture and orchestrating grand acts of terrorism, while also outwitting the government or Batman. Hes just a monster who relishes in the humor from the destruction and chaos he causes. Thats it, nothing more or less. And you either need to put down someone like that or lock them up in a secure location with top men and security.

Second season is supposedly better as your decisions influences the Joker on becoming the villain we all know he is or turn into a Vigilante like Batman and has the story play out differently. Problem is that thos whole thing changes depending on 2 button prompts on the 4th episode believing if Joker is innocent or not.

So how was Arkham Shadow despite it being a VR game? All I know is:
