The battle theme is flaccid as hell, and the victory jingle isn't far off from a doorbell.
The hard part is gonna be deciding what to replace the most offensive tracks with though.
My favorite tracks are obvious, but I think I'd rather keep it within the digimon games if just to keep it sounding at least somewhat in theme.

It's a bit entertaining fiddling with evolution lines to put together a squad you like, but the demo doesn't give much of an idea about what endgame party building and battle strategy will look like.
The demo doesn't take much more thought than pokemon, i.e. hit weaknesses and don't get hit by weaknesses.

Since the demo just covers the tutorial I'm fine with that, but I wish the separate town adventure mode had a really hard boss to work up to to show off the mechanics. But the Ogremon bros. are just pushovers even if you have nothing but Rookies and Garurumon. There isn't a good way to grind XP there anyway.

Nice to see that levels never factor into requirements so if you've got a bunch of cumulative stats saved up you can just go up and down the line if you want. Seeing that the DNA Digivolutions require personality types is a bit worrying from what I saw in the demo, though. I was having a bitch of a time getting Gomamon to the right personality to De-Digivolve. Hopefully the Farm makes that easier.

And keep in mind that even Digimon in the bank get battle experience. And you can just yank the skills they learn by leveling up off them and equip them to your main mons. It's a bit silly.

Has anyone been able to datamine stats? The main ones I'm curious about are the Hybrids. Also Nefertimon. Presumably its stats will be similar to the other Armor Digimon, but since Tailmon is an Adult Digimon by default, it'd be funny if evolving it doesn't really change its stat total much.

Why is Digimon so bad at brand synergy?
It's been almost 6 years since the big push to bring Digimon back started, and even now outside of the TCG they're terrible about cross promoting their different releases within eachother. Where the hell are BlitzGreymon, CresGarurumon, and Alter-S? Why is Pulsemon not here? No Gammamon either?

I can get not having Loogamon or Pteromon since they're still pretty new but Pulsemon and Gammamon are 4 years old and were the faces of the revival push for a while.
Sure Digimon is a franchise carried by nostalgia, but wouldn't it make sense to include at least 1 or 2 Digimon from recent projects that newer fans might recognize?
