I have been thinking buying Silksong but all the reviews say its is to hard. Even my friend. He tell me that he stayed on a same boss for 2 hours.Is the game this genuinely difficult?

I suck at video games and was able to beat it 100%. If you get stuck somewhere, go somewhere else and find upgrades.

I think the most attempts I've had on a boss so far was four and it's the giant axe guy and that only happened because I wanted to do him before I unlocked the dash
To be fair I'm only like 10h into the game, but so far it feels like a joke

Buy everything and collect upgrades, if you have a roadblock its because you dont have access to the few options available.

Most of the difficulty is in act 1 where you lack options, there are various bosses in act 2 that nobody thinks are easy fights but are not nearly complained about as much due to you having options by that point.

Did no Hollow Knight boss ever stop him for two hours?

Truth is that Silksong is easier than Hollow Knight, and only two challenges ever stopped me for two hours. And one of those challenges wasn't even a boss fight.

It's all pattern recognition and is masterable by anyone eventually, regardless of IQ.
The only serious annoyance with the game is running back to a bossfight through half a whole area.

It is hard, but you can always leave from a boss if you are stuck. A lot of the more punishing mechanics are meant for you to explore more if you are not ready for a boss. The reviews are mostly because it is early and people hurry to finish the game without exploring much. Also once you get comfortable with the moveset the game becomes fairly easy to deal with.>>721160636 (OP)
