Deus Ex, Splinter Cell, and Dishonored are all better games when you chuck out the stealth. Man, I hate stealth.

No reason to sneak past bunch of druggies, just blast them. Meanwhile be a ghost when getting the evidence from the cops who are just doing their job. You get enough praxis to do both.

Depends on the game really. Stealth is more fun in Hitman. You can go stealth in Elder Scrolls games but it's really boring.

I agree, but blasting them all made the curfew section actually fun, whereas before I viewed it as the worst part of the game because of all the difficult sneaking when going to and fro.

Even before this playthrough I viewed stealth negatively because of its dishonest approach to combat. All warfare is based on deception, but not cowardice to face your enemy.

Games are shit if they don't encourage adapting dynamically to either.
