The foundation of post-2000s videogames is retro shit, due to the massive speculation into consoles that forced everything to stagnate towards the point in development we were at in the mid-90s instead of naturally leaving consoles behind.
A true anti-retro movement would ultimately be an early 2000s PC gaming revival, so ultimately still retro shit.
