Let's break it down step by step using the fruit symbols as variables:
Step 1: Identify the value of each fruit

Equation 1: + + = 30 3 = 30 = 10

Equation 2: + + = 18 We already know = 10 10 + 2() = 18 2() = 8 = 4

Each bunch of bananas () is 3 bananas, so: = 4 ÷ 3 = 1.33 (or 4/3)

Equation 3: - = 2 We know = 4 4 - = 2 = 2 = 1 (since = 2 halves = 2 × )
Final Equation:

+ + = ?? Substitute the values: 1 + 10 + 4 = 15
Final Answer: 15

It takes 50 days to build a house. Every day the progress to completion is doubled. That means every N-1 day is equal to 50% of the N day. Since day 50 is 100% then 50-1 = 100 *.5 which equals 50% progress. So it takes 49 days for half the house to be completed.

never seen this one before, i'll take a crack at it.
looks like its a number pad, 1-9 so the missing numbers are 2, 6 and 7. Working off of that assumption you need to put those three numbers in the right order?

"twice seven days" if there was a 1 and 4 id use those for 14, but twice seven could just mean 2 - 7 here.
So, 276 would be my first, lazy answer without thinking about it too much.
"makes the new moon full" not sure yet about that, could be flavour text as a new moon takes roughly 2 weeks to become a full moon.
"plus one is the key to the square as well"
not sure how that relates to 6 in my lazy answer, nor what the square is unless its related to a game object

if this isnt a key pad thats 1-9, if have to think about it much more.

I got it, I just meant it was specifically -worded- weird.
the first question says "you pass second place" but that can mean different things to different people, did you pass 2nd place - the racer or 2nd place - the position for example
not too bad but could be clearer
The last question I understood, but
"the progress to build the house is doubled each day"
is just a bit vague, one could also read that as the required progress, or that its relative
I got it because ive seen a similar question before, but this would stump many people if it were on an exam or something because its not really clear what exactly they meant by progress is doubled.

not a big deal, but this is the kind of shit they provided illustrations with I guess.

"twice seven days" = 14, "plus one" so 15 is the key number yes and then you can notice each row adds up to 15, by that you can assume the final row needs to add to 15 as well

I got that far, but now it's just a guess as to which numbers adding up to 15 are in the final row. Unless you pick up on the "square" hint and realize it's talking about a magic square (all rows, columns, diagonals add up to the same number), now it's easy to work out.

Cool desu

true.
the first one is why I knew it was US based, only the US version of english would call entering 2nd place "passing" 2nd place
to anyone else, youre in 1st, since you dont pass something until you 'pass' it.
The only reason id answer 2nd is because 1st is too obvious and no question would be THAT easy, so you assume from the get go that its a trick.

the second question is just a classic gotcha reading test to filter out migrants.

the third is probably one youd get a picture with, and ironically it makes sense the employees would all be lazy migrants who stop fucking working until they crack the whip on the last day

>only the US version of english would call entering 2nd place "passing" 2nd place
It's more of the sense of passing as in moving pass something. The question doesn't specify but most people would read it as a competition like a race in which case passing 2nd place means running ahead of 2nd place, which puts you in 2nd place. It's not using the word pass here to mean enter.

>I have too much of an ego to look up any hints or guides
do NOT look up guides, being told how to do it wont let you learn how to do it.
you need to understand why the answer is what it is, not just what the answer is.

hints can help, but its hard to find a hint that doesnt just contain a spoiler to the answer
best thing you can do is step away and come back later, different mind, rethink it from the start, most people get blocked because they forget to rethink old ideas, and get locked in a dead end of thought.

Yeah I know how they meant it, if you asked anyone here what you meant by passing 2nd place, theyd probably say "well, you passed 2nd place so presumably you are 1st" but I suppose you could also pass backwards down into 3rd, technically, though no one would ever say that in that way.
Here youd say you "took" 2nd place if you ended up there, to keep the idea of "passing" specific to the position and not the racer itself.

the trick to the puzzle is to realise some rooms have 5 doors and they are a problem
4 door rooms are fine, as you just go in-and-out once on each edge, but a 5 door room is impossible to not get trapped on. if there were only 2 such rooms, youd know you need to start and end in those rooms
but there is 3 of them., the only way that is possible to handle is to wrap around the whole lot at least once

im honestly stumped
the three 5 door rooms seem to make it impossible
the only ways to handle a 5 door room is to start inside, and leave
>OUT-IN-OUT-IN-OUT
or, to end the puzzle in that room
>IN-OUT-IN-OUT-IN (trapped inside)

if there were two rooms, its easy, start in one of the 5 door rooms and end in the other. Doesnt matter that you are trapped since, youre done.
but, there are 3 rooms. Entering a 5 door room will always result in being trapped. Therefore, its impossible to escape that room unless you started in it, with 3 of those rooms, one room will always be left with one door unused.

Logically I cannot see a way around that without cheating. So either im missing the solution trick, or its a troll question.

In the 90s I was a kid and played the game based on Rendesvouz with Rama.
Great game, had to squeeze my brain to make through it.
Had to take half an inch of sheets of paper full of notes, and to pass a set of numeric puzzles I had to go to my father and ask him to teach me radix.
And the last puzzle required a code to defuse a bomb: the first 20 numbers of the Fibonacci sequence.

Great game. It gave me brain cells... and made my life 10-20 years shorter
