Aveline's outfits were a good mechanic and Adawale's campaign was an expansion of helping the Maroon settlements of ex-slaves escaped from Caribbean plantations, when some of their owners were Templars. Also AC3 had a whole thing about Connor being indigenous and part of the Iroquois; I think they did some stupid things with him ending up killing Haytham and his character itself was stupid, but not because of the Indian stuff. The Tyranny of King Washington WHAT IF scenario DLC had him use mystical Indian powers if he never became an assassin etc.

So its not like AC titles have never had black protags before or slaves. The KKK thing is really the stupid issue though because unless these fags want a game where the KKK is half made up of good people, its not going to work as AC titles set the Assassin / Templar thing so that its a hidden fight not just aligning to one good vs bad real world faction. It would be extremely obvious that a game where you played a black former slave assassin killing the KKK because of course they're al templars would just be pandering of the worst sort and fuck up the whole AC lore. Hopefully hey figured out that Yasuke was a shitshow and Shadows was basically fucked over because they jammed him in and yammered about how AUTHENTIC they were with all kinds of failing at every instance. I still want a Shadows expansion featuring Yamanuchi Taka as a fucking apology though, the protag who was supposed to be there before Yasuke was crammed in and other stupid things were put into place.

All in all such a game as described would be a terrible AC title and good riddance.

The fact that Assassins Creed still exists as a franchise beyond Unity is a mystery to me. This IP has been absolute slop for a decade and retards are still keeping it afloat.
