Convert whenever you hit 100% unless you plan on using the mon in your party. Something is up with the farm for sure. The whole point of it in the past games was to be this set it and forget place to raise digimon. Now it need routine interaction with each indidual mon.

It seems its true purpose is for you to drop party members in there to alter thier personality or raise their bond. Speaking of which raising bond with food in this game is weird... instead of making food expensive but gives big boosts to "CAM" with a chance to fail and digimon gaining max CAM after only a few battles. Food is now cheap with digimon having a favorite food that increases thier bond by only 2% so you have to spam thier favorite food at them 50 times and battling with the raises their bond very slowly

Not even the same person. I'm questioning why you are bringing up difficulty in a JRPG and simplifying it to 'engaging with the game's systems' when lowering the difficulty setting is also 'engaging with the game's systems'.

Grinding in these games in any shape or form is explicitly designed so people can just power up and steamroll anything. Regardless of difficulty setting. Because it is a JRPG. If you desired difficulty you would not engage in the ability to inflate your strength beyond what the story alone gives you. And like that guy already brought up before there is a Mega difficulty and a Mega+ difficulty.

If you grinded more than necessary for the story and that is the reason why you found the story easy then that's your fault for choosing to grind before completing the story contents. It's that simple.

I beat the game and all it's sidequests. It was pretty fun and all of the digimon models and animations are great. I ended up using a dark team with plutomon (def down), armageddamon (dark res down), venusmon (healer), omnimon zwart, beelstarmon, and lillithmon.

I started ng+ on mega+ and want to try some different teams. What are you guys using? Also how come there's no steel resistance down move?

A level 10 Gomamon basically lets you trivialize the entire rest of the game. I can't believe they let you get Guard Field that early. Of course, I can't believe they made Critical Field either, but they did. TS doesn't purport to be a balanced game.
