Wait. Do you hate them on what basis?
>They realized that they can't see you "improve" with them
>You realize that you're not at the top of any given illustrative situation that involves theirs and your art
Also, improving:
>In terms of styles
To what extent were they capable of doing geometric - cartoony - semi realistic - realistic designs? Are they being a style generalist, or are progressing along that visual detail style scale?
>In terms of subject details
To what extent are they capable of doing more than just icons, props, body parts, characters, vehicles, buildings and in backgrounds, do they use plain, or gradient, or simple, or scenic backgrounds in their art?
Thanks for bearing with this autism I had to ask, lol.

>Fun drawing
NTA, usually with a friend or two, really. Still takes me back to a time ago where we had drawn some traditional comics about our ocs engaging with the bestiary and people of the food and game themed worlds, or just hanging out - eating or reading really. Still chasing that high, up till now, you know? That's fun. Maybe it's a social skill issue? Timing? Nowadays, all my friends who do art are busy, so looking forward to new friends really
